Oxford Sports Imaging Course 2024

The minimum age limit for registration is 18 years.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the Oxford Sports Imaging Course 2024 is to be made electronically by completing the respective registration form provided on the course website.

Registration fees depend on the date your payment is received at the applicable bank account and will be considered as incomplete and adjusted accordingly if the payment is not received by the relevant deadline. The relevant registration deadlines are announced on the course website.

REGISTRATION FEES

Reduced course registration is available to all active ESSR members with their membership fee balanced. The individual registration fees and respective deadlines are indicated on the course website.

REGISTRATION OF THIRD PERSONS

Upon registration on behalf of third persons, the registering person warrants and guarantees to be entitled to execute such registrations according to these General Terms and Conditions in the name and on behalf of such third persons by proxy and to declare any and all approvals and consents required according to these General Terms and Conditions in the third person’s name and behalf.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment of registration fee can be made either by bank transfer, PayPal or by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Registration fees depend on the date the payment is received at the applicable bank account and will be considered as incomplete and adjusted accordingly if the payment is not received by the relevant deadline.

BANK TRANSFER

For payment via bank transfer, full name and course reference have to be indicated on transfer documents for identification purposes. The registered person is responsible for any bank charges incurred.

CANCELLATION BY THE PARTICIPANT

In case of cancellation before March 15, 2024, the registration fee will be refunded minus a

cancellation handling fee of GBP 25.00 (refunds are processed after the course).

In case of cancellation after March 15, 2024, the registration fee will be refunded minus a

cancellation handling fee of GBP 100.00 (refunds are processed after the course).

All cancellations have to be done in writing to the organisers at omrpracticemanager@gmail.com

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Participants being consumers and entering into the contract with the European Society of

Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR in their own name and own behalf have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reasons. This 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. With regard to participants whose participation fee is borne by a third party and such third party entering into the contract with European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR not being a consumer itself, no right of withdrawal is granted. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, such participant must inform European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR, Am Gestade 1, 1010 Vienna, Austria, (e-mail: office@essr.org), by means of a clear statement of the decision to withdraw from the contract. The withdrawal period is respected if such participant sends his declaration of withdrawal within the withdrawal period, whereby the following sample form can be used (but not necessarily).

If such participant withdraws from this contract, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR will refund to such participant any payments European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR has received from him without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR received notice of the cancellation of this contract. The refund is including eventual delivery costs (except for the additional costs arising  from choosing a different type of delivery by the user than the cheapest standard delivery European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR offers). For the repayment, European Society of

Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR uses the same payment method that such participant selected in the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed with the participant; European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR will not charge such participant any fees for this repayment. After cancellation the respective service cannot be accessed.

POSTPONEMENT, RELOCATION, CONVERSION, REDUCTION

In the event that it is judged advisable or necessary to have the Oxford Sports Imaging Course 2024 postponed, to have the location changed or to have the Oxford Sports Imaging Course 2024 converted to an online meeting or closed early due to events beyond the control of European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR (e.g. cancellation of flights, strikes, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, travel bans, official orders, closure of the event centre, etc.) European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR shall not be obliged to any refunds. In such event, the obligation of European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR shall be restricted to take reasonable efforts to relocate the Oxford Sports Imaging Course 2024 for no more than seven months from the original finish date.

In the event of a relocation or postponement or conversion to an online event of the Oxford Sports Imaging Course 2024, the contract partner of European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR shall remain entitled to participate at the Oxford Sports Imaging Course 2024 at the new date and/or the new site and/or online under the same terms and conditions. In such event, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR will not be liable for any damage or loss incurred by their contract partner. If, for any reason, it becomes impossible to hold the Munich Sports Imaging Course 2023 within the

deadline of seven months, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR will refund to the contract partner the sum paid.

SCOPE OF THE COURSE AND COVID-19 RELATED RESTRICTIONS

The event will be held onsite in Oxford, United Kingdom.

The registration fee paid shall entitle the participant to participate in the onsite event only.

If, for any reason, including but not limited to government regulations, access to the course centre where the onsite course is supposed to be staged is limited to a certain number of persons, only the number of persons permitted shall be granted access to the course centre. The selection shall be made after the time of registration. Upon the permitted number of persons being reached, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR shall have the right to deny access to further participants. In such case, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR shall publish the number of persons permitted and the deadline until which registrations shall be entitled to access to the course centre on its course website. Not being granted access to the course centre shall entitle the participant to a full refund of the participation fee already paid.

In order to avoid the spread of COVID-19, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR shall be entitled to restrict access to the course centre where the onsite course is supposed to be staged as well as to any other premises where events in the course of the course shall be held to persons fully and duly vaccinated against COVID-19. The respective requirements to prove such vaccination may be subject to government regulations and will be published on the course website. European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology – ESSR shall be entitled to request the upload of a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 upon registration and to restrict participation of those not having uploaded such certificate of vaccination.

NAME CHANGE

Name changes will be treated like the cancellation of one registration and the new registration of another participant.

BADGES AND SAFETY

The safety of all course delegates and participants is of utmost importance to the ESSR. Badges must be worn visibly on the course grounds at all times. The ESSR reserves the right for staff to check participants' identification upon admission to and/or inside the course venue. Participants may at any time be requested to present adequate proof of identity, in the form of a passport, driver's license, national or military identification or student ID. Documents for the proof of identity must include a photograph and signature.

COURSE MATERIAL

The course material (badges, etc.) will be made available to the participant on-site.

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

We would like to inform you that there may be filming and photography during the meeting. A photo gallery with all photos taken during the course may be available to registered participants on the course website. In addition, photographs taken during the course may be used for the society's social media channels.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE/APPLICABLE LAW/PLACE OF JURISDICTION

The place of performance of any duties and obligations for both the ESSR and the participant sides shall be Vienna/AT. Any contractual relationship with the ESSR shall be subject to Austrian law. Place of jurisdiction shall be 1010 Vienna, Austria. ESSR shall also be entitled to pursue any claim before the courts of law competent for the defendant’s domicile or general residence.
